Omnitrack’s MI22 Internal Fixing Ball Transfer Units are machined from solid steel & case hardened for wear resistance & AISI420 corrosion resistant balls. This series features a M8x1.25 internal securing thread (female). Ideal for conveying applications where objects are required to move smoothly & precisely across a surface changing direction without a trail, with minimal effort, our Solid Steel Housing Ball Transfer Units also feature a reinforced machined steel top cap offering protection against impact from misalignment of the conveyed item. Commonly seen in horizontal position, ball up applications creating ‘Ball Tables’ or similar conveying surfaces our MI Series Ball Units allow movement horizontally on all axis as well as rotation on the vertical axis. They can also be used at an angle using a ‘V’ formation allowing the channeling & free rotation of tubular materials or they can be mounted at 90° with balls to the side creating a low friction surface on the walls of your machine or conveyor. With a low friction coefficient of 1:0.02 & operating at a speed of up to 3ft/s at temperatures ranging from -22°F to +212°F our Medium Duty Internal Thread Ball Transfer units offer great value for your air-cargo facilities, assembly lines, conveying systems, live storage facility & many other projects! To convey your object properly it needs to have a flat surface in contact with at least 3 of our Internal Fixing Ball Transfer Units at all times, so to calculate the required load capacity of each of the MI series Ball transfers for your project simply divide the weight of the conveyed objects by 3.
